At Bright Learning Academy, we carefully select highly qualified, compassionate, and nurturing educators who are genuinely committed to supporting each child's development. Our teachers and staff foster strong partnerships with both parents and colleagues, recognizing the value of collaboration in a child’s early learning journey.
All staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid, and in accordance with Georgia state regulations, they participate in annual professional development. This ongoing training includes topics such as child development, positive guidance strategies, health and safety protocols, early childhood education methodologies, and the prevention and recognition of child abuse.
Please meet our dedicated team of educators:
Jialing is the cofounder and executive director of Bright Learning Academy. Jialing holds a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. She also has experience in both overseas and American education systems. She has been proud to have worked in the early childhood field for more than 25 years!
Jenny joined BLA in 2021 and currently serves as the Director at BLA Norcross. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. She brings over 14 years of leadership experience from managing a school in Taiwan. Jenny is dedicated to supporting families, staff, and students through her knowledge, experience, and commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
DeStynee joined the team in October 2025 and serves as the Assistant Director at BLA Roswell. She brings five years of dedication to the child care field with a focus on building lasting relationships with families and supporting the growth and development of every child in her care. She takes great pride in the center's mission and works daily to ensure a nurturing and safe environment for all.
Hannah joined BLA in 2022 and serves as the preschool lead teacher at BLA Roswell. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Child Development and a certification in Child Advocacy from Mississippi State University. Originally from Mississippi, she now proudly calls Georgia her second home. Since 2016, Hannah has worked with children ages 0–5, bringing nearly a decade of hands-on experience to her role. She is deeply committed to supporting the well-being of the whole child, a passion and responsibility she considers her life’s work.
Shenique joined BLA in 2020 and serves as the PreK lead teacher at BLA Norcross. Originally from New York, she has called Georgia home since 2002. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and has been working with children since 2015. Shenique finds great joy in guiding and nurturing young learners, not only teaching them, but also helping shape them into confident, well-rounded individuals.
Natasha joined BLA in January of 2022 and serves as the Two-year-old lead teacher at BLA Roswell. She obtained over eight years of experience in early
childhood education. Originally from Florida, Natasha has called Georgia home since 2019.
Natasha holds a Child Development Associate ( CDA ) credential and plans to further her education and career with BLA.
Chelsea joined BLA in 2021 and serves as the preschool lead teacher at BLA Roswell. She is currently pursuing her associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University and brings a strong passion for working with young children. As a proud mother of two, Chelsea combines her personal and academic experience to create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment.
Lola joined BLA in 2025 and serves as the Two-year-old lead teacher at BLA Norcross. She holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching young children since 2020. Passionate about supporting children's growth during this critical stage of development, she is dedicated to nurturing their social, emotional, and academic progress and strives to create a warm, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Veronica joined BLA in October 2025 and serves as the Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher at BLA Roswell. She loves this age group because they are like sponges and enjoys creating engaging learning opportunities for her class. Veronica has two children, Ken’Dell (17) and Victoria (15). She brings 25 years of experience in childcare. She holds a Para Professional and TCC credential and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate.
Martha joined BLA in October 2025 and currently serves as the infant lead teacher at BLA Roswell. She has dedicated the past 19 years of her life to the child care field, driven by a deep love for children. While she began her career working with toddlers, she has spent the last 17 years specializing in infant care, which is a role she truly treasures. She believes that every day brings a new opportunity to teach and learn. She brings a wealth of experience and nurturing care to the classroom.
Aniyah joined BLA in October 2025 and serves as the Two-year-old teacher and suppor staff at BLA Roswell. With nearly two years of professional experience in child care, she has known she wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember. Her love for instruction began at home, where she enjoyed teaching her younger siblings fundamentals like colors and numbers. She holds a special appreciation for playtime,
citing the imaginative adventures the children take her on as the absolute highlight of her day.
Jessica joined BLA Roswell in October 2025 as the GA Pre-K Teacher. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with children of all ages, from infants to aftercare. She earned her CDA in 2017, has specialized in Georgia Pre-K, and is currently leading her ninth Pre-K class. Jessica is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Grand Canyon University. Her goal is to merge decades of hands-on experience with advanced academic training to provide the highest quality care for every child.
Joshua joined the team in October 2025 and serves as the GA PreK teacher at BLA Roswell. He is an educator with nine years of experience working with students across a variety of learning environments. In addition to core educational work, he has taught chess, theatre, and martial arts and using each discipline to help students build confidence, critical thinking, collaboration, and self-control. He is committed to creating engaging, inclusive spaces where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired to grow both academically and personally.
Dina joined BLA in October 2025 and serves as the Center Cook at BLA Roswell. To her, cooking is more than just a job; it is a true passion. She
believes that feeding people is a way to share love and care, ensuring that every child is nourished with healthy, delicious meals. While her primary domain is the kitchen, Dina’s deep love for children means you might occasionally spot her lending a helping hand in the preschool or school-age classrooms.
Travis joined BLA in 2021 and serves as the facility manager at both the Norcross and Roswell location. He enjoys being with the children, and understands the importance to make sure both BLA is a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow in. He has two wonderful children and spends quality time with them after work.
Sarah is the co-founder and administrative director of Bright Learning Academy. She earned her bachelor's degree in Art from Georgia State University and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. With a deep love for children, she finds great joy in witnessing their growth and development. A proud mother of three, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family!
Ms. Zoila joined BLA in October 2025 and serves as the infant teacher at BLA Roswell. With three years of experience in the childcare field, she is passionate about the foundational milestones of early childhood and truly loves the time she spends teaching and bonding with the infants. For her, there is nothing more rewarding than watching her students grow, reach new goals, and discover the world around them in a safe and loving environment.
